When the layflat hose diameter is large or extreme conditions such as water hammer need to be treated, standard two bolt clamps may not provide sufficient sealing force. At this point, heavy-duty clamps with multiple lugs are a necessary choice as they can ensure long-term sealing of large pipeline systems under high pressure.
