• Qruck International Shore Connection (ISC) is a portable, standardized universal coupling required by the IMO SOLAS Convention to be carried on all passenger and cargo vessels of 500 gross tons or more. Its primary purpose is to provide a means to connect a ship's onboard fire main system to a water supply from shore or another vessel in an emergency, such as a failure of the ship's own fire pumps.

  And our ISC connection equipped with a Storz coupling features a standardized, quick-connect fitting on the ship-side connection. This allows for rapid, tool-free attachment to the ship's existing fire hoses. The other side of the connection is a standard international flange, which is bolted to the shore or assisting vessel's matching ISC flange using four bolts and nuts. This design bridges the gap between different national hose connection standards found in ports worldwide

  Universal Standardization: The flange dimensions (e.g., 178mm outer diameter, 64mm inner diameter, 132mm bolt circle diameter) are standardized internationally, ensuring compatibility with shore facilities global.

  Rapid Connection: The Storz-type coupling allows for a fast, tool-free connection to the ship's fire hose, saving critical time during an emergence.

  Corrosion-Resistant Build: The connection is typically manufactured from durable, corrosion-resistant materials like brass or bronze to withstand harsh marine environments.

  Complete Kit: An ISC is typically stored with all necessary components, including a gasket and the required four 16mm diameter bolts, nuts, and washers, making it ready for immediate use.
